(JAMB) has warned prospective UTME
candidates against falling victim to fraudsters
and to beware of the false announcement of sales
of registration documents as well as illegal
centres and subject combinations. This warning
came from the Board's Head of Media and
Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin on Tuesday in
Lagos.
He noted that the registration and all the
services of the board will be done by approved
Computer-Based Centres (CBT).” According to
Benjamin, over 700 centres have so far been
accredited for the conduct of 2019 Unified
Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
scheduled to commence on March 16.
He further announced that the sales of
registration documents for the examination
would commence on Jan. 10.
JAMB has already published the list of all
approved centres in all its state offices
nationwide. Candidates are to choose the
nearest CBT centre to them.
He equally disclosed that the board is yet
to publish any advert concerning 2019
processes; stating that this will soon be done
just before the commencement of the sales of
form.
This is to guide the candidates towards the
examination processes in order not to fall prey
to these fraudsters who are bent on finding
ways of causing pains to innocent Nigerians.
